The Writer's Stylus Unit Design Tool is available to anyone who has successfully completed the Writer's Stylus Basic Course. It enables users to build rubrics and customize instructional Blueprints* for Writer's Stylus units. Registered users can save up to three of each. Additional services, including the capacity to save up to 50 rubrics and 50 Blueprints, are available through a one-year renewable subscription.
* Blueprints, as introduced in Architecture of Learning, are instructional design grids that align methods, subject matter, and student thinking to produce deep learning. The Blueprint guides the selection and sequence of learning activities that compose an instructional unit.
A working knowledge of Architecture of Learning is helpful but is not required for this program or for unit design within this program.
